Lex Autolease

Featured Replies

My firm use Lex (Lloyds) Autolease to source their company cars. Ordered my VRS end of April and was told via email that the expected delivery date would be July 14th. I rang them a week before and was told the expected delivery date would now be Sept 1st.

Still no word from them and they point blankly refuse to tell me the dealer details. No dealer, build week, bugger all !

Anyone else had dealings with them, seem useless to me.

Yup. used to be great. Now a bunch of muppets.

I bought our personal lease car off Lex and told them where to go.

I had a similar thing with my company car from Lex. Ordered my car end of Feb, got a due date of Mid May approx 12 weeks. I then get a call 3rd of May saying that the factory is short of parts and there would be a delay. New date was the 12th July. An extra 7 weeks. Short on parts, has anyone else heard this as I did not believe them (Lex). My company had to pay the extra on the existing lease from 12th March which was a lot of money.

Hi, ordered my Elegance 1.6CR (with Anthracite paint, xenons and bluetooth extras) in October 2009 (Company car through Lex Autolease). car arrived May 12th 2010!!!!

According to Lex and the dealer, the Skoda factory 'lost' the original order - I was only informed of this the week the car should have been delivered (early Feb). Had to use a replacement vehicle for 3 months.

No compensation from Lex, Skoda or the dealer - they couldn't have been less bothered to be honest (and too busy all pointing the finger of blame at each other!)

That aside, very happy with the car.

Rang them again today and was told the car wasn't at the dealers yet...informed them i spoke to the dealer 5 mins before I rang them and it was ready for delivery. Was told the delivery team would contact me today to arrange delivery..........not heard a thing.....fecking usless. :swear:

Interesting, I am also using Lex Autolease and was originally told there was a 14 weeks factory build which would have put it around middle of July for delivery. I then get a call to say that it wasn't being built until 9th August and as of yesterday still hadn't received it!

I phoned Lex today to find out where it was and they couldn't tell me when it was being delivered, I checked on my paperwork and found the name of the dealer and phoned them direct. He was very helpful and said it was being delivered to them tomorrow and I should receive it early next week. He said that he would phone them tomorrow to let them know that the car had arrived and I will wait to see if I get a phone call from Lex to tell me wwhere the car is. I won't be happy if I don't hear from Lex, they have been useless and the lady I have been dealing with once I had signed on the dotted line has been very reluctant to talk to me and has been rude at times!

Don't think I will be using them again.

On a happier note I can't wait to get my new car!

I found Karina very rude at Lex.
