From what I can gather from the service manual, this is to be done around 90k miles with no year based time limit... is that right? Makes me feel a little uncomfortable after having to do it every 4 years or 60k on my 1.9 mk1 vrs!

Any ideas?

Skoda quote change the belt at 4 years or xx miles.

Yeah!...same on all the PD engines now, 1.4TDI or 1.9TDI. Going from memory, I think it should be 4yrs and 50,000 miles now. Check your manual or speak with your dealer as Skoda changed the schedule for these items and it could be different in the manual to the latest info.
