Changing Fabia mk2 rear light cluster

Featured Replies

Sorry about this, posted similar thread in the mk1 section until I was informed the car is a actually a mk2..

Anyway basically my girlfriends mum has her first mot coming up on her 57 plate fabia but the rear light is cracked so needs to be changed.

Is this a hard job? I've changed several rear light clusters before mostly jaguar/range rover and it's never been too difficult it's just I wanted to know if there was anything in particular to watch out for whilst doing the job, Also if anyone could remember what tools they used that would be great as I'd be pinching them from my toolbox at work

Many thanks indeed

Lew

hi all i popped over last night to have a look and it's dead easy to do I had it off in 5 minutes. if anyone would like to me make a guide then I'll happily take photos of it but the cluster has to come out to change the bulb so im guessing everyone already know :)

yeah its easy enough, ive changes my brake bulb 3 times. its just one big screw in the boot, then take out the bulbs.
