SKODA 2.0 CRTD engine

Awaiting my CR Scout (scary reading about delayed build dates etc). Just wondered if it is a chain or belt driven cam?

I believe it's belt

I believe it's belt

yes, it is

Given it's a belt, what's the recommended maintenance/replacement interval?

My Fabia was 60000 miles, so am going to expect that when my Octy arrives,

All 4 cyl diesels are belt driven.

The newer CR have belt change intervalls of 180tkm (a tad more than 110tmls)

That should just about see me through my intended ownership then  . On my current mileage that would take me at least 10 years to reach those sorts of numbers and in the best part of 30 years I've never owned the same car for more than 4 years.
