skoda felicia pick up lowering

Featured Replies

hey all,

thinking bout getting a felicia pick up to doss around in but 1 criteria would be that it would need to be lowered.......... been looking around but dont seem to be able to find any off the shelf coilover kits... are there any other coilovers that fit?????

thanks

you cant get anything specific for the pickup, the market is just to small to make it worthwhile. You could use the standard felicia kits on the front, but may need to do something custom for the much lighter and different rear end. Also, checkout if anything is available for the older VW caddie, since this is basically a rebadged felicia.

Rear suspension is different to the hatch back using separate springs and dampers.

Some have used mk4 golf rear springs with some success.

the the op, if you look at the top of this page there is a thread about lowering pickups...

p.s if you get the bottom of the hub carrier bored out to 62mm you can use a mk4 golf coilover kit on a pick

ah ha yeh i saw the guide for lowering springs but i was hoping for coilovers for the max slam....

So can a mk4 coilover set fit both front and rear if bored out???

you wont be able to use the mk4 rear dampers unless you can figure out some way of making the threaded part on top of the damper a bit longer, but you could just use the rear spring and height adjuster from the kit with the standard skoda rear damper... to fit the front ones all you need to do is get the hub bored to 62mm then fit the skoda topmounts to it... simples

edit: just to clarify, the rear damper coilover setup on the mk4 gold is just a plain damper with no spring platform, and a spring, and a little threaded twisty collar thing that goes at the bottom of the spring
