Hi there, i am relatively new to the forum and VRS ownership. I have a question regarding a diesal vrs Octavia 07 plate, bought this spring. Since ownership when driven with a bit of spirit there can be a momentary break in power like a misfire, and occasionally a complete loss of power for a couple of seconds, like when joining a motorway. There has been no fault found by Skoda, only that an 'intermittent fault' exists, and warranty ends in two weeks. My concern is that the previous owner has knackered the particle filter by poking around town for a couple of years. Any suggestions for an explanation or cure - has anyone else found similar? Thank you

Dodgy fuel and/or clogged/knackered injectors, my petrol version started as you describe, then progressed to engine management light and dealers not being able to find anything.
