Hi everyone, my wife has an 04 reg Fabia Classic (1200 engine).

twice now about 2 weeks apart, whilst parking in car parks the brake pedal has gone down to the floor,---it comes back up instantly when she presses it again.

Has any one had any similar problems?.

I have driven the car all over the place but cannot get it to do it for me.The brakes work perfectly---seem a bit fierce to me but thats probably because i drive a VW campervan.

I can't help you with the "going to the floor bit", though yes, these cars (Fabia & Polo 9N & Ibiza 6L all tend to suffer from fierce front brakes, I've got a VW Passat B5 and it took me quite a while to jump from car to car without making the Polo stand on its nose!

What's the brake fluid level like? (Use a small torch on top if it helps).
