hi everyone hope someone can help with a interior mirror that is doing my head in it is a light auto sensor type , i need to change it to a manual one of some type

that has a manual anti dazzle switch any idea's anyone thanks. ps skoda have said if i disconnect the wires to this i will have problems with the managment system

i cant take the chance on cutting the wires without help.....

I assume you have the auto dimming mirror, which when turned on should work very well, in deed better than a manual antidazzle.

Perheps your mirror is faulty...?

If it isn't dimming early enough you could always tape over the forward facing ambient light sensor on the back of the mirror... that will make it dim earlier. I sometimes block this sensor with a finger when driving if it is boderline and I'm getting dazzled and the mirror then dims immediately.
