Help with selling

Featured Replies

Hi,

Ok, I bought my octy mk1 at the begining of the summer for £6,350 i had to travel half of the country to get the best one i could find. Its a 2005 in silver 1.8T VRS

It only had 30k miles on the clock, full service history, amazing condition with a few mods on it....gas headlights, parking sensors front and rear, powder coater wheels, CAI, parrot, tints, front splitter etc.

Since ive had it in the last six months i have fitted weitech coilovers, whiteline RARB, full service including timing belt and water pump etc, and wheel centre badges to keep it looking mint. I also have a full blue flame SS exhaust system to fit and a powerflex dog mount bush thingy. and front upper and lower strut braces and a full sheet of 3m carbon look film still to fit.

What king of money could i ask for this if i was to sell it?? I'm never using it and i think its time i sell up the car and the wifes and just have the one car.

I just do not have a clue as to what i can ask for this?? any help welcome. I'll try and get some decent pics up.

Cheers

£5500

mods dont increase value they just lower the market appeal

better to sell the mods seperate and then sell standard car for around the 5to 5.5k mark

B) gotta be up round the £5500 marker, it was few months back but rich got 6 for his loaded black magic with 26k on it  it just the case of waiting ( again like someone like you or me that rate the low miles as a I WANT I WANT )

i know what you mean tho, mine rarely moves but he is now staying :giggle:

I agree your looking about 5500 mate..remove some mods to get some money back

I'm still not 100% that I'll sell it. I may just see if there us anyone on pistinheads etc that's looking for a swap with something I'd rather have.

Till then I'll keep modding it! I'll get the splitter taken off this week so I can get it up the drive to clean it and get some photo's of it
