We've just been out in one of the cars and whilst stood at a set of lights there was a sudden judder from the engine and the engine warning light and ESP light came on. I drove away from the lights and pulled over and turned off the ignition etc... Then restarted the car and the ESP light is out but the engine warning light is perm. lit along with what seems like less power when driving and at times a very rough idle.

Anybody any ideas on this one?????

Strange i know it's not much help but im sure a Scan will shed some light....

Yeah got a post up in the diagnostics section too..... Trying to find someone in the Sheffield or close by area who has VAG-COM and can have a look before i take it in to the stealers.

Since fitted new fuel filter and use diesel vpower and its all good

Whack a new fuel filter on!!
