Don't know. It's just the Brand. (3M Carbon Fibre). I was advised by a window tinting company to get the 3M one! :giggle:

ah ok thanks lol

Fabla the gear stick surround and ash tray are indeed one unit, just take the middle of the ash trayout and remove the middle screw, pull the gearchange gator up and out then lever the gear lever surround out.

As for what to use the carbon fiber on :-

They are actually off a Vectra with the lower ashtray and lighter socket cut off !. Made up some sides out of plastic card then covered with carbon. Attached via 3 screws to the underside of the center console.

A pic of it open

Hope that helps

Dam hoped I would be the 1st to 3m fibre the ash tray and gear surround lol

Hi korban, when you sprayed the sun visors, what did you use? Assuming you didn't buy new ones. And the A pillar - is that sprayed or wrapped in fabric? And again for the rubbery seal things around the doors? Sorry for all the questions!

Cheers, Joe.

Hi Joe,

Did not have to spray anything - the VRS models all have black interior trim anyway

Karl

Wow, how specil do I look?

Thought they were white originally. Oh well, cheers anyway Karl.

how hard is this stuff to use? and how much would it cost? does it look and feel tacky when applied? ive never seen it first hand. also korben how did you apply it to the air vent surrounds etc? does all of this remove easily or did you just apply it with them in place? and where can you get the crome dial surrounds?

thanks, jordan

i carbon wrapped the grille and wing mirrors, but wouldn't wrap the interior to be honest. as mentioned before its a bit chavvy. excess wrapping looks poo in my opinion but each to their own.

Cheers for the info Karl - looks good, and IMO also OEM too.

Any chance someone could post some pics (or a link to pics) of carbon wrapped mirrors please???

Hi Gareth
