Thanks people! Just shows the power of forums eh? and as Wardy said, the hatch has better spec, and being 1 company owned has hopefully lived on the motorway!

I was looking at higher miled PD170 models (similar search to this really, but derv powered!) and found it difficult/impossible to find examples with a decent spec level (i.e. Jumbo box/dual-zone/rear electrics) as a minimum, hence me plumping for an Elegance instead.

Does sound like the selling emporium is a little suspect though!

When I was looking for my Octy I read some very negative things about Keighley Sports Perf., all hearsay of course, and don't have any first-hand experience of them, but "buyer beware" all the same.

Same here - also, I think that car has been for sale since January (when I got mine) so it could be a bit of a turkey...
