If you had said christmas tree lights....

They all look tacky IMO. The only ones that look ok are sivxr's, mainly cos there invisible when off!

your car looks lovely mate, cant help thinking you have overdone the aftermarket lights though!

Haha, I haven't finished yet..! got the boot light still.. (postage is taking forever..)

My previous car was 'worse'/had more lights. I drilled holes on the front and rear bumper (facing downwards) to put white and red LED's in, it was like a ambient curtain of light on the front/rear of the car. took AGES but was pretty funkeh. Completely legal as-well (white light under the front bumper, red lights on the rear bumper)

But back on topic,if you want subtle, maybe simply link your front sides to ignition on wire..? very simple to do and more OEM look.

Find ignition on wire, tap that to just after the fuse of side lights in the fuse box (with a diode and relay),

or a more simpler and less tidy approach is to splice the two positives of the front sides, run wire from both to ignition on wire. (with diode only should be ok, as I've done that)

Ignition on wire can be found either on HU or one of the wire on the far right relay (big bosch one). I think there are others but I don't know them yet.. But remember to use a diode..!

Since had a look at yours and really like the drls in the fog surrounds. Is there any legalility to how high or low they are positioned?

Ah yeah lol. Sorry I'm bit tired now!

LED's doesn't give much 'throw' i.e. not focused so they are not considered to be "glaring/dazzling" So anything is a go (imo a bit silly). I suppose mot people can do you for passing the 5w sidelights mark if you do get stupidly bright ones, how they can find out is anyones guess? Mine are 3w's only becaues 4w ones are 4 times the price! lol.

Edit: On second thoughts, does all lighting need to be E marked approved blah blah.. I don't really know..

Is there any legal reason why the bulbs in the foglights - I've never had a car in my life where front foglights improved the driving experience in any weather - shouldn't have the normal bulbs replaced with LED DRL versions?

What about THESE

This would be like the ones on Minis and Fiat 500s where the DRLs are where you'd normally see foglights.

Some one give him a pic of DRL's!!

Korban, yours look awesome. Any links to how you did them? Makes the front end look abit more mean imo

I'll second that

They throw a lot of light out by the look of it.

Here is something I just tried, I think it makes it look meaner IMO but I am going try something more restrained

The Carbon eyebrows actually hide downward leds which make the side lights brighter.

Hopeing to make the changes in the next few weeks
