Watch this space, am sorely tempted as Wifey loves the Yeti.

Yes they will be launching the 1.6CR TDi engine into the Yeti. I didn't realise they had planned to make a Greenline version.

They won't be launching the 1.6CR engine any time soon though, there are already supply problems with this engine, I don't think making it an option in another model will help things at all!

1.6 CR TDI Yeti Greenline with DSG. That sounds like Shrub's potential next car........

Have they made any Greenline vehicles available with DSG?

Not yet.

But the Yeti is the first Diesel 4x4 with DSG Skoda have made... so there is hope.

and.... Because of the way the DSG gearbox works on the 1.6CR it is actually slightly better on fuel than the manual, although it does push the emissions up.

But we are just about to take delivery of an Octavia, simply to get the 1.6 CRdiesel/DSG option.

Maybe If I place an order now I would have one for when my ould girl croaks in about 2012

& The Missis can keep her Octavia
