High level brake light

Featured Replies

This morning I watched my missus moving my car off our drive to get her's out (not that I don't trust her:no:) and noticed one of the bulbs in my Ocy vrs high level brake lights has gone, now I am one of those people that this will niggle the **** out of me until it gets fixed, as it is the only thing on the old girl that's not working perfectly, I had a good look see around on Brisk and could not find any threads.

Is it easy to fix? I take its just a case of replacing one bulb? if so where can I get one? or is it just a standard bulb to be bought from say Halfords?

cheers for your time peeps.

Chris.

No they are LED bulbs so you need to change the whole high level light.

Check first some are bulb and some are LED. bulbs are available not sure about LED!

Mine are bulbs and they ain't cheap from VAG, about £2.50 iirc, I got them from a local factors for about 40p each instead. If you have the LEd version this doesn't apply lol

Ar$e! does anyone have the part number for the whole strip just in case I have to replace the unit? and does the plastic cover just pop off or is it bonded?

Cheers
