Need help - 2008 server R2 and Samba

Looking for help here, cant get this to work at all.

Have a 2008 R2 server, need to map a network drive to a samba share on a solaris box.

Can map to same share from Windows XP and Windows 7 fine, but Server 2008 R2 gives me an error 58 and will not connect at all.

Any ideas folks.

Sorted this in the end, the smb.conf was not configured to allow the subnet the R2 server was sitting on access. Added subnet to the allow hosts line and all was honkey dorey.
