Hi Guys,

my glow plug warning light is flashing.It says in the manual that theres a fault on the system.

Does this mean they all need replacing also by running the car will it cause any long term damage. Octavia 2005.

The glow plug light flashing can mean a number of faults not related to the glow plugs, the most common is the brake light switch being faulty (check the brake lights are all working correctly).

Failing that, the cheapest thing to do is to get a scan done by someone with VCDS to pinpoint the fault.
