Hi to you all. New starter signing in. I got my Octavia 1.9 tdi PD Elegance Estate as a lease car at work, then bought it from the leasing company a year later at £5,000 off new price. Fantastic car, huge mpg, reliable, comfortable - BUT, it got me into trouble with my girlfriend. When I had to choose a car to lease, I narrowed it down to either VW Golf estate or Skoda Octavia. My girlfriend wanted a Passat, but I couldn't afford the costs and she told me if I bought a Skoda she wouldn't get in it and would rather walk. She even refused to look in the Skoda showroom. Well, I got the Octavia for financial reasons - and she never spoke to me for 4 days, but she got over it and now loves it as much as I do, and now wants us to get another one when this one moves on.
