Ok, had my VRS for about 3-4 months, Ive noticed, if I am driving at night, with the lights on, and go to main beam (stalk forward), the main beam lights come on, but the regular lights dim/off?

however, if I am driving along, lights on, and I flash somebody, or just pull the stalk back, then main beam ligths come on, AND the normal lights stay on?

is this normal?

i think all my cars have done this

Seperate circuits for dip & main beam. Pulling stalk back activates both (for daytime use)

Combined Main beam and dip bulb (h4) probably. It turns off dip beam when you put mains on to avoid cremating the bulb.
