Can you turn off Diffusing Lights?

To me, this seems like a big fuss over two little lights.

First:- They respond to the instrument lighting control and dim with the instrument lights.

Second:- If they upset so much, just stick a bit of tape over them.

The Bolero can be dimmed using setups found under System. I now have mine set to darkest - it is still easy to read and, if I have problems seeing it next summer I will just wind the illumination up.
