Uprated vRS Octy (mk1) engine mounts

Featured Replies

Hi all

Has anyone had any experience with these engine mounts??

Mine are foooked (apart from the dogbone) and will be looking at uprated jobbies to go in place of the OEM slack rubbers....ooh er!

Steve :)

i went for the vibratechnics ones, a bit more hardcore then these ones i believe, its weird you get a bit more vibration but its more engine/gearbox noise gets transmitted through to the interior, although it also made the exhaust sound raspier which was nice, and the way it put the power down after was great, i was running 240ish on a standard k04 mk1 and it only chirped the wheels slightly in first, traction was greatly improved, obviously there a lot more then the fr3 ones and they have the added effect of looking standard, cant comment of how they are though or what the vibes are like with them

That's a good price

I paid a lot more for mine, Got them from THS :dull:

Seem to fit OK (its only the rubber inside that's different), not been able to road test them yet ...
