Hi all,

New to the site just ordered my first skoda octavia VRS TDI, Hopefully get it end of Jan.

Read the website and forums a lot before taking the plunge for this car. Any help or recommendations on what should look out for / do very welcome.

Thanks for advice so far and look forward to reading more reviews and hopefully helping others out.

Betsy I went with the candy white. diesel engine, what colour you go for. Have to get an update re delivery.

great minds think alike

mines a candy white petrol with dsg so the wife can drive it.

went for sunroof and heated leather for a bit of luxury.

dealer going to paint my wheels black before delivery

and i might go for a black roof as well - what do you think ?

just have to wait for 3 months though !!!!

Thanks for all the replies and welcome. Getting a little bit worried now as was unaware of the esp problem, anyone now know if this problem has bene sortred out.

Hello, I activated Smart Link on my swing 3 radio, at Skoda Octavia mk3 MY 2018, so I want to share with everyone how it can be done. DISCLAIMER: You do it at your rensponsability, is not easy to do, and you can mess things out, possible brick you device. Do it only if you have expereince in this kind of activity. Physical tools needed: Tool for removing radio 4 pieces, just google "VAG radio removal tool", cost about 1€. CH341A Mini Programmer, cost about 10€. PC/Laptop Philips screwdriver

Well strange predicament due to dads age and alzheimers diagnosis he shifted his car to me. Pretty damn nice car 1.8T DSG 2014 less than 20k, packed with as much as mine has and more besides like adaptive cruise, folding mirrors. Not sure I need 2 though longer term tho....useful for now though as my petrol vRS similar vintage really could do with a clutch <80k miles so I am grateful for it regardless ! Not exactly the slow option either, obviously not quite as good as a 2.0T but better eco

Hello, I have a problem with my Mk3 2016 Superb. The AC doesnt cool enough, the radiator is indeed flat and dirty, but i suspect the compressor too. Did you have this problem? How can i diagnosis it better? Thx

The Elroq was only released in October in AU and we bought the first one from the dealer after driving a pre release vehicle back in July Wife's new Elroq 130 2 weeks old has an "interesting problem" Love the car but the Au importers appear to have stripped out some feature to maybe save a few $$(Of course not, would they?) Hi everyone, I’ve got a 2021 Superb S EL. Fantastic car, very comfortable. I’m thinking of ordering a new Superb Sportline. Has anyone driven both these trims and can tell me how to compare for comfort ? I recently tried an Octavia Sportline and it was too firm for me. Every bump was felt in contrast to my Superb. I’m hoping the Superb Sportline will be ok with the DCC in comfort mode but it does have large wheels. I realise I should really get another S EL but the Sportline looks nicer in
