Why is there only haynes manuals and brochure on ebay but that's it in the way of used parts? Surely these cars are not that rare yet?

If youre talking about the good old Estelle range there are only a couple of hundred of all types left on the roads (inc. Rapids) and if youre talking about the S series cars then I would doubt if there are more than a 50 left on the road in this country (although a few people have been importing LHD saloons from CZ recently).

you can still buy pattern parts from most aftermarket parts manufacturers, for common service parts and body panels etc..

You can get almost everything you need new for an Estelle from CZ where is it the mk2 Escort of the country. The S series is less well supported but some panels and most mechanical stuff is also still available new.

checked with solent car panels today (they supply a lot of the local body/paint shops) and they can indeed still get certain body panels like wings and bonnets, but they are in very limited supply

I ended up buying a low mileage but bodily rough Rapid as a donor car. It's heaven, when I need a part I just take it.

You can get wings and repair panels through Jorily spares (no need to worry about limited supplies you just need to deal with companies who have CZ connections)......there are usually body panels of other sorts on ebay through Boroskoda (he has panels to make a whole car in stock).

Anyone got any contact details for Boroskoda and any English speaking Czech parts people?

Chris Pepper of Boroskoda (CPMS) can be contacted on 01733 324251. Highly recommended: he does good work for a fair price and normally has an interesting range of spares for old Skodas in stock. I think he took over the S4Skoda spares stock a few years ago.

Jorily deals with CZ all the time.....make sure you ring him not email him though...he seems to have given up answering them recently. You can order direct on his site for available parts...just depends on what youre after. Boroskoda is also good but his pricing can occasionally be a little high.
