My website

Featured Replies

As many of you know I like to document all of my mods on my website http://www.pimpmyskoda.co.uk/ and I've tried to build up plenty of useful information and pictures to help others.

So I was thinking the other day about all of the really good guides people post on Briskoda and wondering if I should start to add them to my site as well. With the writer's permission and co-operation of course, and with full credit given.

Anyone interested?

How about putting on the rear suspension bushes? And replacing them with the Fabia vRS ones.

Bowders1 did a good guide back in august.

I think what you are trying to do is a brilliant idea.

To be able to have a central source for all the technical information and tip/guides etc. etc. in one single place will be of

considerable benefit to all members. I think that nothing but good can come from this.

Would also be useful to have stickers placed in all the appropriate forum sections to reference this new site.

Should you wish to invite members to contribute by recommending inclusions to you then I'm sure this would

produce a valuable additional source of data.

Good luck with your idea

I know robs site is really usefull but why can't we have a BriskodaWiki ??????

... BriskodaWiki ??????

+1; I thought something along those lines was planned for the "Pages" section of this site ?

Would be useful have a guide in a format other than a normal thread, where updates to the info can get lost in pages of conversation.

Maybe with conversion/respond thread link to the guide topic to allow for other to input ...

Rob your site rocks. Have used it many times.

Love the idea.

Briskoda has all the info but so hard to find what your looking for as it might be only a single post on a multi page thread. This is why your site is so good as all the info is easy to find. Thanks.

Seconded ;)

Will be doing a dismantle and led change red to green on a VW MFD1 soon.

Need to install first to check everything works first.

Thirded....

I have done many guide's and used Robs site for inspiration many times. Robs site is much easier to just get to what you need. A lot of guide on this site get lost in the techy pool because they are not set by. Engine, Suspension, etc

I am sure Briskoda would benefit having the same thing or a section that replicates Robs site or points to Robs site.

Cool sounds like a plan then. Now where shall I start... :)

I did a throttle body cleaning guide and an SMIC intercooler cleaning guide but people often miss those coz they're in the general guides section and not the Octy I section. Feel free to use those

Excellent idea not that I have anything to offer! Maybe a how not to page!

Excellent page you have and a great idea!

Better get on with it then.. :)

We did have a wiki for a while, but it kept getting bombed with porn lol

Not quite sure what happened after that tbh.

so looks like a personally controlled site is the way to go then.

I did a quick guide for the Inlet manifold to Crank Case Breather pipe with an extra check valve that you can put up Rob :D Also got a copy of Debbie does Dowlais! if you want to use Wiki software :D :D :D
