Hi everyone,

I am wanting to tackle the interior roof lining of my octavia vrs mk1. previous owner was unfortunately a smoker and there is quite a large amount of dust/darkened tinge to the roof lining especially over the drivers side area. the pull bars and the sun visors arent a prob to remove and clean but what would you recommend to use to clean up the lining itself.

it should be a nice pale/whitey silvery colour but unfortunately all i have is brown tar staining

any suggestions would be much appreciated

I used to smoke and when i stopped i decided to wash everthing down to get rid of the staining and smell,I used Flash and hot water,did the trick.

thanks for your response roman. glad to hear you've managed to quit - takes a lot of will power to do it so bravo!

I shall give that a go later tonight hopefully will clear it up.
