It'll never pass the MOT with that smoke! :giggle:

MOT smoke test isn't done under load and full throttle conditions. More of a very fast idle.

I agree though, too much smoke for my liking. Cyclists going the other way must hate it.

could use it to cure kippers?

Just found out I was running the weaker of my two trial mappings on Saturday.... D'oh! :D

Should be running a fresh one for the day at JKM. B)

every time your on an rr there's excuses (by the way im only joking) :p

All rolling road's do is depress me!

I suspect i will be depressed when i don't hit 220/230bhp at the next one im going to :/

I have to admit I was just kind of "Oh, ok" when I got 275 on saturday, whilst everyone around me was going "F***ing hell! It's a diesel! haha" etc etc.....

Do you think the extra 25 BHP will be hard to achieve, without NOS or Propane or are you planning to use it again? Are you still running water/Methanol?

Do you know what cars normally have this big turbo as standard?

Its a stock Audi Q7/A5 (new 3.0 litre V6 TDI engine) turbo. :)

Extra 25bhp should be achievable through a much better bottom end (which will feed into a better top end too), and an extra 0.3 bar of boost. :)

Until I read your later post, I thought you meant it was lacking fuel! LOL!

Fingers crossed that 0.3 bar increase means you break 300BHP. :)

Next RR run should be on a frosty November morning, I think though. ;)

Based on how smooth it is running I'd avoid Propane ;) - impressive stuff, hopefully the turbo tweaking will get rid of that cloud of black, should be blistering fast but I'd imagine you have to be pretty careful in the wet even with great tires & the Peloquin?

i love this car been out in it a few times now and its just completely different to anything else ive been in
