I have tried removing the aerial by unscrewing it from the base. But it does not seem to budge at all once I get to a certain point....

It seems stuck....any advice?

Pull it down towards you and give it a good tug. It will come out.

Just have to get the guns out

As stated by Goldie Jon, once unscrewed as far as possible, the aerial will hinge down towards the boot, then tug away.

It can take a bit of force to remove (I remember seeing the roof flexing), but it will come off with some effort.

A sharp tug should normally help.. rather than a slow tug..

Sorted! Thanks guys! Some tooling cut the end of it the other day and I've had to replace it today.....
