Got a fabia vrs with possible electrical fault . . bad earth?

I first notice somthing wrong when i was driving along at night and everytime i put my full beams on my stereo would turn of for a second then turn back on, which i fort nothing off for a while as it didnt happen over the next couple of days.

a couple days later, driving along and my stereo cut out again then turned back on but this time my PAS turned off (must have lost the power to the pump?) turned my car on /off then started workin again . . . this has happened to be serveral times nw and i can tell you know its very dangerous with out PAS on like driving a tank.

I havent checked any connections etc yet bit will do .

any help would be great !

Tricky one, might be battery, but I would scan it for codes to see if the voltage control unit is playing up. If you get loads of codes stating +B out of known limits it's the battery, or battery cables.
