Well hi all been away a long time. id just joined up on here a couple of years ago and then changed brands.

Now on my 4th Skoda company car and lovin it. Ive had 3 TDi Octavia's andd they were great cars especially the 130 Ambient SE.

Now gone over to petrol so it will be good to see how they compare reliability wise compared to the TDi.

I do a fair amout of miles ( around 50k a year ).

Now taken delivery of a Octavia 1.8 TSi elegance.

Love the way it drives and is so quite compared to the 118d BMW i have just had. But it did 97k in 2 years without a hitch.

Thanks for the welcome ill no doubt keep you up todate with how things are going. Picked it up Thursday and only done 600 miles so far but enjoying it.

I will have put at least another 1000 miles on it by the end of next week so it should be about run in by then so i can see how it performs.
