Door lock stuck locked

Featured Replies

Hello all, went to use my car today (mk1 Octy VRS) and to the missus annoyance the passenger door won't unlock :(

Any idea how to fix as i can't even get the door card off due to the door being locked shut??

Cheers.

do a search, this has been covered loads of times. Its a real Bitch to do, when mine stopped working I had it done at my local garage as I couldn't be doing with the aggro.

Thanks for the one reply, I did search but couldn't find info on removing the door card when the door is shut.

Have now sorted it after consultation with my local Skoda dealer, and the didn't want any money either

Can I ask what the issue was? My O/S rear has stopped working and is also dead-locked....

It's looking as though the trim will have to be forcefully pulled off from inside to gain access to the lock mechanism.....

Regards,

Steve
