Found out my car has been built this week.

Does anyone know when the next boat sails? Is there some on-line tracking somewhere?!

How long does it takes to get from factory to the port and how often does the boat sail?

I would imagine with my luck that I have just missed one boat. :'( :'(

It didn't seem long ago when you posted on here you had just ordered it!

Good News! Hopefully mine will be built week 42 as quoted then.

can you please provide your order date

then i might get some idea of when mine might be ready

My order went in on August 2nd. The support and updates from the dealer have been outstanding. Thank you to Hobin Skoda Manchester.

Don't know whether it's to do with spec. I opted for manual. I think DSGs are taking a few more weeks.

My spec is; Candy White 2.0FSi Petrol hatch, xenons, front and rear parking aids, auto lights/mirrors/wipers, spare wheel(I still find this 'option' ridiculous).

Arnt you LUCKY, orderd 1.6 elegance Est. DSG August 6th. told build week 42 Now been informed build week 11, delivery mid april 2011 Thats 35 weeks

Confirmation by dealer today that its 'build complete'.

No idea what boat its going to be on but its on its way here.

Another potential three week wait now. Gah! :S :'(

guess i'll be waiting a little longer then :(

(intrestingly, i ordered on 7th August and i was quoted week 43 build......)

EDIT: Aren't these White vRS's gettting common? Perhaps I should have stuck with Yellow......
