Just picked up my Roomster!

Haven't had much time to have a drive due to the weather, but really really pleased with it.

I opted for the heated seats and wow they are super quick heating up warm.

The 1.6 cr tdi engine is very smooth and quiet.

Thanks for all your help on this site with my previous postings. I will post an update after I have taken it for a longer triip.

The roomster is a brilliant car. My daughters loved the panoramic roof and larger rear windows.

I drove over 280 miles this weekend on various duties :'( and just amazed how nice this 1.6 cr tdi is.

The average is showing 63 mpg as most of the miles were at 65-70 on the m4! This is backed up by the lack of fuel guage movement!

Way better than my old car which always returned 28mpg. Happy days!

Wow, how diesel engines have improved. (I used to own a passat 130 pdi and that was fantastic). Much smoother power delivery across the range compared to the pd engines.. It doesn't have the instant surge but lasts longer which feels better.
