i am planning to 'play' with the wiring of the nova a little bit and would to know other peoples opinions on the connections on the ignition. are my guesses incorrect?

sorted it via a vauxhall forum, goes as follows

Red - Positive 12volt feed to ignition switch

Thin Black - Energised with key at "I" position

Thick Black - Energised with Key at "II" position

Black/Red - Energised with key at "III" position (May be one or two wires)

i hate those blasted things, i have fitted a keyless start though

press the on switch for the ignition to come on then pres the starter buton to start the engine

I thought all Novas had a keyless start?

Admittedly it usually involves the use of a screwdriver....

ah but mine is all proper like, well as proper as me butchering other stuff for switches and buyng a random push to make switch can be called proper
