I've started to notice a fast tapping noise from my engine at idle, as soon as i accelerate it stops, however comes back when i stop (waiting at lights etc).

There is no difference in performance/no engine lights, could it just be vibration?

Sounds like it could be injector tick mate.

iirc your engine has a chain? So it'l be the chain rattling...
