Hi. I'm new, so please forgive if this is posted to the wrong place. I''ve noticed quite a few ccomments on David Ian in Morecambe, mostly postive regarding their sales service. I bought a new Octavia Elegance from them last Decembeer, and picked it up in March. The guy I dealt with was David Hainsworth - one of the David Ian duo - and he couldn't have beeen more helpful. Problems started when we reported a rumble at slow speeds which was very disconcerting. They agreed to fix the problem, but at first came back to say they could find no problem. I then went out with one of their engineers and he heard the rumble and agreed it was a fault. It is now October, and they STILL have not fixed it. I admit we have had to take the car back from time to time - but we need the car for trips to London for hospital treatment, but have now taken it in to them 5 times. They just don't seem very interested.

On the sales side, I have no complaints. But woe betide anyone whose car has a fault on delivery. If you do, copy all your correspondence to the main Skoda Customer Service dept.

Rumble at low speed? I am not technical but I had a lot of "rumbling" and after much stopping and searching it turned out to be my numberplate which hadnt been fixed correctly. Last place I looked!!! I suspect yours isnt the same but in my case it took 6 months to find.
