Wet boot lid

Featured Replies

Went to use my rear washer the yesterday in all the rain we had (normally theres enough water around to do the cleaning!!!) and heard a wooshing sound, no water, tried again thinking the water had evaporated in the line, still no water but more wooshing!!!! Got to work and opened the boot lid to find water leaking out from behind the rear panel, pulled that off and worked the washer again and found water was coming from inside the motor.

Now i know the washer jet goes through the middle, and funny old thing the washer tube in the middle of the motor has rusted out.

Can you get repair kits for these pipes as the motor works fine and is still like new, so seems a shame to spend £90 on a new motor if it still works!!! :'(

Any ideas?

Repair kit available from Euro Car Parts
