Do fabia doors fit in car

Featured Replies

Ment to be picking up a front and rear door from a member on here tomorrow but Ive just gone out to measure the boot up (seats down) and it seems like it might be a very tight squeeze.

Has anyone put 2 doors in the car before.

cheers, Stephen

No I haven't but your question was intriguing so I went out to measure mine.

I don't think you'd have a problem getting them through into the car via either the rear hatch (diagonally) or the rear door (again diagonally). Seemed to be several centimetres clearance either route. I'm assuming you'll take the seat bases out, and may have to take the seat backs out too - the latter needs tools...

I did take the bases out.

The problem I think is where the boot narrows where the wheel arches are.

I did only have a very quick measure though.

I've had 2 fiesta doors in the back with the seats removed no problem.

I have a whole Fabia bonnet FLAT in the boot of my car. I don't think doors will be an issue, but I would ensure you take plenty of padding to put between them to prevent damage in transit.

I once got a replacement roof liner in a polo 9n, roughly the same size car inside, don't see why doors shouldn't fit?
