The rubber on the clutch pedal has worn off because of which the chrome plate cannot stay on the pedal any more.

I believe it should be just a simple case of strapping on a new rubber which presumably will have the chrome plate.

Does anybody know how much the part will cost and where to get it from?

Also, is it easy to fit?

VAG Main dealer or Trade Part Specialists. Not sure if you can buy individual pedal covers, but a set costs about £30. Very easy to fit, i just fitted a set in my wife's Bora today took all of 5 mins.
