I ordered my Octavia Scout TDI 14.09.10. When should I realisticaly expect to have it outside my house. The dealer told me that delivery in december was expected.

Can this be trusted??

Could be accurate, who knows?! It seems like a bit of a lottery recently. My VRS took 13 weeks from date of order to it standing on my driveway.

Some people seem to have waited longer though, but I think 12-16 weeks is the period that most cars arrive in.

Just got a note that it is expected end of november. Meaning 10 weeks delivery time from when I ordered :yes:

I ordered my wife's Fabia 1.9 Tdi Sport in September 2009 and was told early December 2009 delivery and the car never materialised to the 1st week in January 2010 and as we were about to leave on a 3 month stay in Spain I asked the dealership to hold the car until our return and register it as a " 10 plate" , but they declined saying as we had bought the car through the scrappage scheme it had to be registered straight away .

So it's now a 2010 registered but a 59 plate
