MSFW and Cruise Control fail 1450 miles

Featured Replies

Done 1450 trouble free miles in the new car

Went to pop to tescos tonight, and the MSFW doesnt work now and nor does the cruise control.

When you press the cruise, the MFD says something like 'driver assistance button defective'

Lovely.

Any friendly briskoda advice or is it back to the dealers :(

Back to the dealer, purely because it's not something you want to DIY on a new car.

Anyone know a reason why this might happen, no prior warning, no nothing. Everything else works (lights, gears (DSG, D S and tip mode) stereo, fogs etc etc

fuse?

Wouldnt worry about the cause - you aint going to fix it yourself are you? Just take it back to the dealer.

probably the convenience unit which controls the two has gone bye bye. Will be fixed quick enough at the dealer I would have thought.
