Hurry up New car

Featured Replies

I ordered my new Octavia in mid June and like so many others, have been given a build date of the 1st week in November with probable delivery early December. Problem is have had to service my 03 plate Octavia, the battery packed in a couple of weeks ago and now the catlytic converter has alomsost snapped off the exhaust pipe and requires replacing. Cost thus far £680. Wonder if they'll let me claim some of that back off the price of the new car!!

I know its not ideal but get the garage to do a quick weld on the exhaust. This happened to my 03 octavia 130 pd and the welds are still going strong. Should last till the new car

a number of people on here have had financial compensation for late delivery of their cars.

the norm appears to be £150 after 18 weeks up to £300 for later delivery.

as you will be waiting over 20 weeks i would advise you to take it up with the dealer.

Hi and welcome aboard.

Welcome to briskoda

If you want compensation for late delivery it is no good going to the dealer, you need to talk to Skoda UK Customer Services, ask for Julie she is extremely helpful.
