Quick question for you all, it's not neccesarily an Octavia question but i thought it'd be best posted here

I'm buying a 55 plate Caddy 104bhp and gonna be checking the clutch etc as it's on it's original clutch at 93k! So thinking if it slips i'll be haggling money off or walking. But my question, if it needs replaced what cost are we talking for the DMF and clutch to be changed? Just so i know how much to haggle off

It's a 5 speed box so not sure if it's any cheaper than the 6 speed varient as having a Fabia vRS before i was being quoted £1k just for a clutch and flywheel before fitting!

g60 flywheel and vr6 clutch is an upgrade parts = £250 + labour

if they fit that box is the question do you know the box number??

Sorry buddy won't have the numbers etc till tomorrow and by then it'll probably be too late. An SMF conversion would be ideal as i hate the DMF's with a passion due to the cost to replace them!

It's the same engine and box as the Octavias as my mates not long replaced his works Caddy van's clutch and DMF and he says it was Skoda they got the bits from
