Xenon sidelights

They're very cheap? I plan to order some upgraded H1s from PowerBulbs soon, and from what I can see, the free BlueVision sidelights look, well, blue! And blue is not a look I want on the front of my car

What do you think? Not too much to risk for £1.66 except the time and aggro to put them in I guess?

The Phillips Blue vision side light lamps are fine and burn a lot whiter than standard yellow lamps.I fitted both main beam and side lights with "Blue visions" (well the side lights came free as you say),in an attempt to match the brighter/bluer light of the standard xenons.If you look at Robs very nice" pimp my skoda website" there is a how to fit new lamps,if you have xenons,if not then the picture of the lamp lit might interest you,and show it does not look blue,or Chavvy lol.

Worth noting that even blue vision sidelight bulbs look yellowy next to OEM xenons, albeit less so than the standard type.

Just get some L.E.D sidelights that'll be a closer match.

I've just fitted these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170524640736&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT and they look great. Plus as they are canbus they don't cause the 'lamp out' light on the dash come up.
