I see a few of you (especially VRS's) have oil catch cans.

Question is is it possible on a diesel and what are the potential benefits?

I was just going to do an elephant mod, as a cheap alternative

Benefits on the diesel are much the same as for our petrol counterparts. Less oily warm air being circulated back into the cold air intake, blocking up the intercooler, etc.
