could anyone please tell me the model of the turbo fitted to fabia vrs as standard

and also the model number off the pd150 turbo

The PD 150 is a Garrett1749VB, I think VRS's came with a 1749VA or a KKK equivalent.

Think a PD150 turbo will be my next purchase...

my mate has just had hid golf gttdi 150 remapped at that more bhp to about 200 although will be confirmed next month at rolling road

Ah, let us know how it goes with a remap from there, I had my polo done by Jason there when I had it but never roaded it. Would be nice to see how the figures compare with other mappers as I've been considering taking the fabia there as he was a top bloke.

Just swap your mates turbo with yours when he's not looking...

yh he is a top bloke like i said he mapped my fabia and tbh it was rapid but flywheel lasted 15k lol however unsure as to weather it was bad mapping or my driving style as ive got a bit of a lead foot

Yeah, think new clutch may have to follow shortly behined, seems to be the two things that die first, gunner start saving now...
