Need A Cylinder Head.!

Featured Replies

Well, I've owned the 4x4 for about 2 months, love the car and then it got a water leak, then it got worse........ then I found out it needed a head gasket doing.!!! Not good but I need the car for work so in it went, head sent away to be checked...... found out that it was warped and needed skimming before they could pressure test it, after all that found out it is knackered.!!! Don't suppose anyone know of anywhere that will sell me one cheap or does anyone have one lying around that they would like to re-home.??? I was told by the engine place that they all have the same head.... Is this true.???

Thanks John

Hi Mate, Thanks for the reply..... Silly question I'm sure but how will I know if it's the right one for my car.??? I don't have the car here, It's sat on a ramp in the garage.!!!

Hi pm Adie Horrocks - he may have one still from an AUQ engine which should be the same head as your ARX engine in a 4x4, assuming it's a facelift 2001 > model.

yep adie has one just needs a couple of new valves and away you go
