I think you may have to wait two years......

My Mk1 vRS was about that price (£8-9k) when I bought it. It was 2 years (or about 25-26 months) old.

if i only have to wait about 2 years for the value to go down to £8-9000, then i can wait....or can't wait! .

i reckon they will hold value well, after 2 years the dealers will probably sell them for something like £11k or £12k at least

are estimated residuals out yet for the mk2 vrs?

Dont fret, the DSGs will be knackered and turbos/superchargers well worn too... they will be stonkingly cheap :giggle:

that's something to worry about, i have second thoughts now

Personally I'd be more worried about buying an ex-demonstrator which is likely to have been thrashed before being run in by at least some of its tryers, than a used one which was owned from day one by a private buyer.

In August Lings cars (Internet leasing) were offering a 12 month lease on the VRS.

I got an e-mailed quote and she said they had 8 I think for Oct/Nov delivery.

Therefore Oct/Nov 2011 these will be coming on the market.

Might be worth a shout.

Put it in your diary Fab55!
