Fuel Filter

Featured Replies

Don't think this is a repost, did a quick search and found nothing. Changed my fuel filter couple of weeks back, even though Skoda don't think it needs changing on petrol models, but for the sake of a few quid i thought why not can't do any harm. Thankfully it's a really easy job to do, and no problems arose. after changing, i cut open the filter to see what the innards looked like, as you can see from attached photo's it doesn't look to clean, i would of thought the filter started off white when new. Filter came off 2002 car and 94,000 miles, think it was the original as there is nothing the service history to suggest it has been changed.

Ew!

The connectors on each end, how do these come off?

Thanks, just trying to spy these tabs! :)
