I'm sure that AdLav colour coded the handles on his black magic.

Personally, I wouldn't call it an essential mod on the black. It doesn't stand out as much as the red, silver & yellow.

Agreed again with Gareth. Kind of a pointless mod on a black car.

You're better off getting some trim shine type stuff and giving them

a wipe over with that once in a while.

Trim shine brings them up very well. It took me a while to notice when I first bought my black vRS that my handles were not color coded!

Lol, I dome the same. My mate has a SE, and mines black. So everytime I see another one I'm like "errrr, that looks odd". If I had a red/yellow/silver one I'd have to do them I think.

It seems that from 2007, the handles were colour coded anyway.

No - earlier than that - we were discussing it recently and I think we found the change was during the "06" period

All MY06 cars (so those delivered from about November 2005) had the BLT engine, slightly different rear lights, a different front grille and colour coded door handles.

I desperately need mine doing, they're scratched to bits. I have heard it can be a pain to remove them and refit them but I think you'd have to to get them painted properly

mine is a facelift 06 model and ive not got colourcoded handles not that it bothers me as the car is black anyway waste of £50 if you ask me

When we looked recently on Autotrader, from memory about half the "06" cars had black handles and half colour coded - so I'm not sure about that.

And please advise what the differences to the rear lights and the front grille were post 11/2005 - I've not noticed anything (yet...)
