At last, after a 6 month wait my SM has arrived courtesy of James at Allams, so here for anyone interested lol....is my beast :

140bhp Elegance Candy White 4x4

Gobi Interior

Panoramic and ultra sexy SUNROOF yipppeeeee !!!

Columbus

Park Assist

Silver Roof Rails

Tyre Pressure Monitor

Heated Windscreen

Spare Wheel,

Mudflaps,

Decorative front & rear inserts

Rear boot liner

Rough Road Package

Big furry thing in the back seat

First impressions after a couple of hours getting home, was WOW ! what a lovely car to drive !! Motorway cruising was unbelievably quiet it was hard to tell the engine was running and very little wind noise which is so well supressed. As for the sunroof, oh I do feel really sorry for those folks who wanted one and couldnt have it cos its absolutely fantastic, it just makes the cabin so bright its like driving around in your conservatory !

And as for those folk on here who ordered a Candy White with the Gobi Interior I can gaurantee you WILL NOT be dissapointed it looks gorgeous much much better than any pics could do. The Columbus is a mighty nice piece of kit too, so overall brilliant drive home very comfortable and relaxing not a creak or rattle in sight, juts smooth quiet driving !!....blisss !

Yeah I know the buggers....I had to sit upside down driving all the way home ! Well spotted tho !

Nice interior . It is a bit of a shame that the Gobi Sand interior isn't more widely available across the range. I saw a Gobi Yeti at David Ian in Morecambe when we were making last minute decisions on the colour for the Superb I have ordered. Pros and cons of light interiors aside, the slightly darker Gobi is much better than the Ivory available on the Superb; the Ivory is just too yellow.

Best regards

David

White looks great! I'm sure you will you will use any excuse to drive it

welcome to the madhouse

It does look good, I hope you have fun getting acquainted with your new motor.

I too have ordered candy white... but with the black interior (to my taste preferable, but each to their own!).. I would have loved the sunroof though.

I hope mine arrives with that furry little passenger as well.. lol

Glad you have got the baby home, congratulations. I very nearly opted for the White with Gobi but settled, after much deliberation, for the black interior.

Mines still enjoying the sea view at Emden. Been there for a week now, so hopefully will be loaded onto a boat heading this way soon.

Glad you enjoyed the drive home, it was a lovely day for it!

My Yeti is also a WK39 build, expecting an update as to it's whereabouts this morning. It was in Grimsby at one point but seems to have reverted to Emden!.

Mine too is a Candy white 140 Elegance. It IS a Yeti that's going to get rather dirty and even some mild off roading so no Gobi sand for me - do like it though. I have also decided to stick with black roof rails as black and white contrast rather well - verdict out on that one.

Really could do with it by Friday as off to Snowdonia for the weekend to support a friend doing the Marathon. The alternative is we either go by fortwo or share our friends decrepit Lupo - which may not get there and has far less luggage space than the fortwo!
